Chennai: In an effort to enhance examination integrity, Tamil Nadu has introduced a dual question paper system for the upcoming Plus 2 public examinations.

Scheduled to commence on the 1st of the month, the Tamil Nadu School Education Syllabus for the Plus 2 General Examination will see implementation of new guidelines for public examinations, which have been disseminated to teachers through an online platform.

To deter cheating during the examination, it has been announced that two variants of question papers will be distributed within each examination hall. Both sets of questions will be identical, yet their order will be altered.

Moving from the conventional practice of administering identical question papers to all students within an examination center, the new system will allocate distinct question papers to individuals seated adjacent to one another.

It is imperative for invigilators and other examination personnel to safeguard against any pre-examination disclosure of question papers.

Furthermore, teachers, principal invigilators, and students are strictly prohibited from carrying mobile phones into the examination hall, with stern warnings of disciplinary measures in the event of non-compliance.
