Admission to several undergraduate programs offered in various educational institutions across the country, including central universities, is carried out through the 'Common University Entrance Test- UG'.

Importance: National Testing Agency (NTA) , established by the Union Ministry of Education conducts the examination on behalf of the Government of India. CUET-UG and CUET-PG examinations are conducted separately for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Participating Institutions:

Admissions based on the scores of this examination is carried out in Central Universities, Educational Institutions, Institutions, Autonomous Colleges, State universities and Deemed Universities functioning under the Union Ministry of Education.

Exam Details:Admission to undergraduate and integrated degree programs is conducted on the basis of marks in this examination. This is an MCQ Computer Based Test. Sections 1A - 1B, Section 2 and Section 3 contain

questions on language, subject specific and general knowledge respectively.

Question Paper: The question paper will be in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Examination Centers: Examination centers are set up in various cities of the country and abroad.
