Applications are invited for various Post Graduate courses at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay


 


Courses & Eligibility:


M.Tech: Candidates with First class or 60% (55% marks for SC/ST) marks in B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ M.Sc. /M.C.A./ M.B.B.S/ M.Pharm/B.Pharm (4 yr. Degree)/ B.D.S.(4 yr. Degree)/ Associate Membership Examinations conducted by recognized professional bodies (like Institution of Engrs. (India), Institute of Chemical Engrs., Aeronautical Society of India, Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engrs., Indian Institute of Metals e.t.c.) and recognized as equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree.


M.Tech+Ph.D(Dual Degree): Candidates eligible for admission to M.Tech. Progamme are also eligible for M.Tech.+ Ph.D. Dual Degree Programme, in certain disciplines/ specializations. There is a common application for


M.Tech. and M.Tech.+ Ph.D. (Dual Degree) Programme.


M.Phil: Masters degree in Arts, Commerce or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent B.Tech./M.Sc. degree or equivalent with adequate background in Social Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Admission to this programme is open to those who qualify in M.Phil. Entrance Test (MET)/ GATE/ UGCJRF/UGCLECTURERSHIP.  All candidates need to appear for MET 2019 to be considered for admission.


M.Sc Ph.D (Dual degree) in Energy : Bachelors degree in Science of minimum three years duration, with any one of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for two years/four semesters and any one of the remaining two  subjects for at least one year/ two semesters. The intake to the programme is through JAM followed by interview conducted by Department of Energy Science and Engineering.


Master in Public Policy(MPP): The candidate must have Masters degree or a 4year bachelors degree (post 10+2) in Arts, Commerce, or equivalent with a minimum 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent.


Master in Urban Design and Engineering(MUDE): The candidate must have First Class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent degree in any branch of Engineering, OR have First Class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in Bachelors degree in Architecture, Urban Planning or related disciplines having a valid GATE score in any subject.

M.Phil: 06.05.2019,


M.Sc Ph.D (Dual degree) in Energy: 15.04.2019


Master in Public Policy(MPP): 17.05.2019


Master in Urban Design and Engineering(MUDE): 30.04.2019
