I have completed my +2. Is it possible to study Polytechnic and what are the courses offered?- 17-Nov-2008

Having completed +2, you can directly join the second year of the 3-year course in Polytechnic. This is called Lateral admission or Lateral entry.

10% of the total seats are allotted for students joining second year after the completion of  +2. After completing Polytechnic it is possible to join B.E directly in the second year through lateral entry.

It offers many courses like Civil, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, Computer Technology, Visual Design and Communication, Textile Design, Apparel Designing and Garment Technology, Production Engineering, Petro-Chemical Technology, Textile Processing, Costume Designs and Dress Making, Marine Engineering and Foundry Technology.
