Chennai: Kurukshetra 2016, popular techno fest of College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University is fast appoaching.

CEGians are bustling about, preparing to host one of the biggest techno management fests in India.

Organised by the CEG Tech Forum, the fest thrives under the patronage of UNESCO and strives to set a new benchmark every year, the techno fest begins from 17th to 20th February.

 It also flaunts an impressive number of participants from over 800 institutions across  the globe. We work to foster the mutual bond between academia and industry to widen the horizon for all the brilliant minds.

Various online events went live on 22nd of this month and saw an excellent turn out. Other events include Bank Robbery (formerly Cerebra) and  Sherlock. CEG Tech Forum projects abound, with students showcasing and bringing to life their innovative ideas.

Registrations are open for workshops, held on diverse fields for participants to choose from. The best in each field shall make sure that the participants get hands on experience in the area of interest. Various abstract topics and concepts will be given life and demonstrated in real time. These workshops boast being the first of its kind in the country, highly sought after tech savvy students wishing to build upon their practical

Krithi is the k! workshop that is held exclusively for school students.

Catch Angelo Vermuelen, the crew commander of a MARS simulation program funded by NASA, at our Guest Lecture on 6th February. Other eminent speakers include Abhas Mitra, former head of theoretical astrophysics at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Dr. Seshagiri Rao, a n associate director at I ndian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Chiragh Dewan, f ounder of Airocorp, Hemanth Kumar Guruswami, CEO of Airtel Broadband, Masha Nazeem, one of India's young inventors, and Arjun Shetty, COO of Bankbazaar. Kurukshetra’16 brings to you a mélange of events across various domains and platforms Engineering, Quizzing, Coding, Online, Management, Robotics and other general events. Our signature event, God Speed, pits contesting teams against one another on the field in an adrenaline pumping race.
